SiliconEx 500 is a professional-grade, high-solids, single-component silicone roof coating designed to restore, waterproof and protect existing roofs without the cost and disruption of a complete roof replacement.

Its moisture-cure silicone chemistry forms a seamless, highly elastic waterproof membrane with excellent resistance to UV exposure, extreme temperatures and permanent ponding water — making it particularly well suited for demanding commercial and industrial roofing applications in the UAE.

Application

SiliconEx 500 can be applied using:

Typical application process:

1. Inspect the existing roof.
2. Repair damaged roofing and deteriorated areas.
3. Clean and prepare the roof surface.
4. Apply primer where required.
5. Treat seams, fasteners, penetrations and transitions.
6. Mix SiliconEx 500 thoroughly before application.
7. Apply at the specified application rate.
8. Inspect the completed membrane and touch up areas where necessary.

SiliconEx 500 should not be thinned.

Recommended application temperature is approximately 5°C to 50°C, with relative humidity below 75%.

Avoid application during rainy weather or when weather conditions may affect curing.
