Yes. SolarEx 300 can be tinted to a wide range of colors… like all the colors in major color collections like Sherwin-Silliams, Ben Moore, Behr, etc. using standard tint systems. However, lighter shades are recommended for maximum reflectivity and energy savings.
When properly applied over a clean and prepared surface, SolarEx 300 can last up to 10–15 years depending on weather exposure and maintenance. Regular inspection and recoating every 10 years can extend its performance.
SolarEx 300 is primarily a reflective, UV-resistant acrylic coating designed to reduce heat and protect the surface beneath. When applied as part of a system with ElastEx 200 or SealEx 100, it provides excellent waterproofing as well.
Apply SolarEx 300 when air and surface temperatures are above 50°F (10°C) and rising. Avoid application if rain is expected within 24 hours to ensure full curing and adhesion.
