Yes, SiliconEx 500 is a 100% silicone, solvent-free moisture-cure formula specifically designed to resist permanent ponding water without softening or delaminating. It provides a hydrophobic, seamless membrane over flat and low-slope substrates, preventing leaks where water naturally pools around drains, parapets, roof penetrations, or low spots on membrane and built-up assemblies.

Our spray-applied coatings bond to a wide range of surfaces, including asphalt shingles, built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, single-ply membranes such as TPO and EPDM, spray polyurethane foam (SPF), concrete, masonry, wood, and metal roofing systems. Compatibility depends on the specific coating selected and whether a primer like ElastEx 200 is used.

Elastomeric membranes such as SealEx 100 skin over within 4 to 6 hours after application and achieve a full cure within 24 hours under standard atmospheric conditions. Once cured, the water-based, low-VOC barrier can be left exposed or top-coated with reflective finishes like SolarEx 300 or FirEx 700 for enhanced solar protection.

Reflective coatings like SolarEx 300 reflect over 90% of UV and infrared radiation and act as complete waterproofing systems when installed over elastomeric basecoats like ElastEx 200 or SealEx 100. Similarly, SiliconEx 500 combines Cool Roof solar reflectivity with complete, single-layer waterproofing resistance against standing water.

To support varied job scales, products are packaged in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and bulk pallet or tote configurations up to 265 gallons. Contractors managing high-square-footage spray applications typically utilize 55-gallon drums or full pallet quantities for efficient loading into large-displacement commercial spray equipment.
