White elastomeric coatings from SolarEx are engineered for application over metal, concrete, wood, built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, and single-ply membranes including TPO, EPDM, and spray polyurethane foam. For asphalt shingle surfaces, specialized rejuvenation systems like ShinglEx 800 provide targeted granule loss protection and sealing.

Elastomeric roof coatings are formulated for extreme flexibility and elongation across temperature swings. Formulations like SealEx 100 deliver 500% elongation, while TropEx 310 provides 125% elongation with approximately 310 psi tensile strength. This elasticity allows the cured membrane to stretch and bridge hairline cracks without splitting or losing adhesion.

While standard water-based acrylic elastomeric coatings require positive drainage, 100% silicone formulations like SiliconEx 500 provide permanent resistance to ponding water. SiliconEx 500 creates a solvent-free, hydrophobic, moisture-cured membrane specifically designed for flat or low-slope commercial roofs where standing water frequently accumulates.

SolarEx elastomeric and reflective coatings can be applied using standard commercial equipment including brushes, rollers, or airless spray systems. Products such as SolarEx 300 are fully compatible with airless sprayers operating at 3,000 PSI or higher, enabling rapid coverage on large commercial restoration projects.

SolarEx products are packaged to support small repairs through large commercial contracting jobs. Depending on the coating formula, container options include 1-gallon cans, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and bulk freight packaging including 180-gallon pallets (36 five-gallon pails) and 265-gallon intermediate bulk container (IBC) totes.

Material warranty options vary depending on the chosen coating system and coat thickness. For qualifying multi-coat applications, ShinglEx 800 offers a 7-year material warranty, while comprehensive restorative silicone systems like SiliconEx 500 offer manufacturer material warranties up to 20 years.
